Angolan giants, Petro de Luanda has reportedly started making probes about the availability of Asante Kotoko’s stalwart defender who gave a masterpiece at the dying embers of the triumphant season. The Angolan champions who reached the semi finals of the just ended Caf champions league aims to reinforce their defensive shortfalls with the acquisition of Maxwell Agyemang before the next Africa campaign.
Though, there have been no official communication yet but it’s believe the “Os Tricolores” as the current Angola league champions are preparing a bumper offer to lure the energetic Asante Kotoko center back after just a year with the porcupine warriors.
Maxwell Agyemang has had a challenging start with Asante Kotoko but adjusted quickly when chances were bestowed in the last couple of games to end the season. Having secured the league title for Asante Kotoko after his solo goal earned an equalizer for Kotoko against Ashgold in Obuasi.
The young defender, at the age of twenty one (21) joined Asante Kotoko on a four-year deal from Wamanafo Mighty Royals in the division one league and impressively got the nod to start in ten (10) matches for the reigning league champions of Ghana.
