Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC to officially launch the much awaited Kotoko Census on Tuesday. The Kotoko Census is keen on capturing all supporters of Kumasi Asante Kotoko electronically to keep track of their supporters across the world.
Growing up we have heard about the numerous supporters of the club but the sad thing is that whenever the club is in need and call upon the supporters, only a few of them show up. This exercise will help the club to know the total number of supporters that are contributing to the club.
No wonder potentials investors have a very keen interest in this project. Asante Kotoko is a very big football club and as such every company wants to associate themselves with it. Investors are ready to come on board especially when the club is now being run professionally. Let’s commend everyone involved in making this project come to reality. In fact this is something which should have been done years ago but as the adage goes ‘It is always better late than never’. This exercise will help Asante Kotoko to know their total number of supporters around the globe so we will encourage every supporter to register.
All registered members will be issued an Access Bank Credit Card after registering which will serve as their official membership card.
The Registration comes in 5 main stages or classification. Thus we will get 5 different classification of supporters. The classification are as follows:
- Standard Registration
- Bronze Registration
- Silver Registration
- Gold Registration
- Diamond Registration
- Platinum Registration
Applicant who subscribe to the standard registration will pay GHc2 monthly to Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
GHc5 monthly deduction will go for the Bronze subscribers and GHc10 for Silver subscribers.
Gold subscribers will pay GHc 20 per month to Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The next level of the classification is the Diamond subscription and it comes with a monthly payment of GHc 60
The final level which is platinum and subscription goes for GHc100 and above. All subscribers will become recognized supporters of Kumasi Asante Kotoko and will be issue a card from Access Bank to confirm their membership. Note that the registration comes in two phases: the local and Diaspora (foreign) membership registration. There will be five (5) classification for the local membership registration. thus standard, bronze, silver, gold, and Diamond.
However an additional classification which is ‘Platinum’ will be added to the above classifications to get the Diaspora (foreign) membership. Payment for local membership will be in the local currency whiles that of the diasporas will be in dollars.
