Ben Acheampong has stated his desire to stage a comeback to the Ghana premier league and play for the Asante kotoko for free. The former U-23 player who last featured for Al-Shamal in Qatar in 2018 has spoken about his readiness to make a return to the Ghanaian domestic league with the Kumasi based club being his preferred destination. Speaking to Asempa fm, the former Wa All stars striker said, “I won’t mind playing without taking salary. It’s not really about the monetary gains. I love Kotoko and would wish to play for them once again” The 31 year old former Zamalek player previously had a two season stint with the Porcupine Warriors, from 2011-2013 football seasons before moving to Angolan side Petro de Luanda.
