Henry Asante Twum is a liar, ignorant and bluffer – Newton Dasoberi

In response to the GFA’s spokesperson mischievous interview with disreputable Joe Laka on Kessben FM/TV. Asante Kotoko Operations & Administrative manager, in a cogent context has rebutted the claims made by Henry Asante Twum on the show as a dishonesty from someone who’s uninformed on what the club agreed with both the GFA and Betpawa on various issues.

In the said interview, following a connived question from the bitter host, Henry Asante insinuated that the GFA spends ¢8,000 for fueling of generators during Kotoko evening matches and it’s untruth for the management to claim paying that cost for public sympathy. The statement which sounded malicious to the Asante Kotoko management has been refuted thoroughly with facts by the administrative manager of the club on his official Facebook handle.

According to Mr Dasoberi, clubs were abiding the cost of evening matches even when they had not fixed to play until Kotoko solely addressed that as a problem in a letter to the GFA. The GFA agreed to the wiseness of Kotoko’s letter and later reached an agreement with an oil company to sponsor fueling for the evening games.

An effort from Asante Kotoko that eased financial burdens from other premier clubs meanwhile the GFA’s spokesperson was naive on this consensus per his misleading rants on Kessben FM/TV.

Mr Dasoberi in reaction to another deceit regarding the management’s refusal to give the player’s MOMO numbers to Betpawa characterized the GFA’s spokesperson as a propagandist who seeks to create a non existent impression.

The Asante Kotoko administrative manager cited ethical and legal compromise which could lead to a third party dealings as the reasons the management considered not to give the numbers to the GFA & Betpawa. Even when the club suggested a different medium to receive the money for the players, the GFA & Betpawa insisted on only the MOMO numbers which wasn’t the best dealing to Kotoko as a football club, according to Newton Dasoberi.

Dasoberi, a caf instructor who also worked at the FA for over a decade admonished the association to ensure unity devoid of witch-hunting, intimidations and aspersions for the betterment of Ghana football. He further dared the mischievous GFA spokesperson Henry Asante Twum for a honest and intellectual debate on matters arising & animosity against Kotoko

Until then, Kotoko supporters should remain calm and understand that the club is not fighting the FA – Mr Dasoberi assured the fraternity.
