JUST IN : GFA to investigate Emmanuel Gyamfi’s despicable behavior on Frederick Asare at NAB 1 park on last Sunday.

Numerous reports emerges that the GFA’s disciplinary committee and match review panels are readying to look into the rift ensued between the former Asante Kotoko captain and the young goalkeeper when Aduana Stars hosted Kotoko for a league match in Dormaa yesterday.

Gyamfi was seen in an escalated and video to have stomped his foot severally on the opponent goalkeeper whilst there’s no proven of any apparent provocations to warrant that repugnant retaliation from the one-time FA cup winner with Asante Kotoko. He later again threw punches on Justice Blay when his former colleague made efforts to calm his nerves down for that unscrupulous display.

According to a top journalist, Sports Obama, the numerous agitations against the untoward incident particularly from the Kotoko supporters have gotten to the attention of the GFA and efforts are being put in place to usher a hefty punishment to whoever would be find culprit in the brawl between the two players.

Emmanuel Gyamfi had already been in the books of indiscipline after he got punished by the GFA in a similar circumstances against Andy Okpu during a league match between Asante Kotoko and Inter Allies at Dawu in the 2020/21 season. An amount of ¢4000 was paid on his behalf by the supporters group (Royal Red Army) when he got fined for unjustifiably stepping his foot on an opponent player.
