Fabio Gama was catalyzed from the shores of Brazil, Ribeira do Pombal around the vicinity of Bahia to play for Asante Kotoko in November, 2020 after lastly played for Jonkoping of Sweden in 2019.

The sensational Brazilian eventually became the poster boy of the GPL after rival supporters mocked his rare arrival into Ghana football as a Brazilian; being ridiculed as a “Carpenter” later turned to a player every football loving fan craved to watch at any second without regrets. Fabio had his intriguing moments in his first season with Kotoko where he was rated amongst the standouts in the local game after numerous goals assists coupled with his captivating twist and turns with the ball on his feet.
Having won the league trophy with Kotoko in the second season, the Brazilian icon ends the stretch with the Ghanaian Champions in an ambivalent mood. Whilst the management strived to extend the affair, Gama gave reasons beyond football not to continue the stay in Ghana with the Porcupine Warriors.
Fabio Gama and his family is currently in Accra and expected to leave the country by the close of this week. Though, a sudden end of an enviable relationship but the best of wishes to the subsequent endeavours to the hardworking Brazilian.
