Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum after a season glory with Asante Kotoko has officially agreed with the club to end their affair on a mutual agreement. The abrupt end of contract between the current Ghana football awards best coach and Asante Kotoko is mutually agreed devoid of compensations or any financial bearings to either party.

Dr Ogum, following his reported agreement to terminate his contract with the club had already informed his decision not to continue as a coach for Asante Kotoko during a meeting with the technical sub committee of the board and some members of the management about a fortnight ago. A sudden declaration from the coach that triggered an uproar when he was met mainly to discuss his schedules and plans for the team towards the upcoming season.

The former WAFA trainer after winning his major trophy as a coach with Asante Kotoko is departing the club in distress after majority of the supporters felt disappointed in the circumstance that led to his untoward resignation.

Asante Kotoko management are therefore in pursuit for a new coach to take charge before the team resumes for their preseason prior to the nearing season.
