The midfield enforcer after being on the sideline for over many months due to a toe surgery has begun an intensive gym works aiding his recovery to join his teammates for the fast-approaching season.

The workaholic midfielder 2021/22 season halted following a toe injury he sustained at the training grounds when Asante Kotoko were limbering up for a return league fixture against archrivals, Hearts of Oak at Baba Yara sports stadium in last April.

The unexpected incident saw the fans favourite missing out the rest of the remaining season after he underwent a successful toe surgery having made only seven (7) appearances for the porcupine warriors in his second coming from Medeama.

The imminent recovery of Justice Blay for the upcoming season is expected to spice up the enthusiasm of his lovely supporters as regards to their eagerness for his return in action and a boost to the Asante Kotoko midfield prior to the much-anticipated 2022/23 hectic season.
