Asante Kotoko to lose key figures ahead of the Olympics clash on Sunday.

Workaholic forward, Georges Mfegue is among the numerous players who could miss Sunday’s clash with Great Olympics at the Baba Yara stadium. The Cameroonian who has just a goal in his 7 games for Kotoko in all competitions this season, missed out in the last game against Aduana Stars due to groin Injury and it’s likely he could not recover to face the Dade Boys on Sunday.

Winger, Isaac Oppong is also likely to miss out due to a reported recurring foot injury, has not played since November when he was brought in on the 69th minute for Eric Zeze in Asante Kotoko’s 2 – 1 defeat against RTU in Tamale.

With Justice Blay also suspended for the game due to accumulated yellow cards, it may mean Seydou Zerbo will only rely on Samuel Appiah at the right back position. The ex Medeama midfielder has seen as an improvised for the defensive role in the last two games and will miss the clash against Olympics due to suspension.

The likes of Patrick Asmah, John Tedeku and Dickson Afoakwa, with slight knocks are still waiting for a medical pass out to feature in the traditional top liner against the mid table club.
