The reigning league champions, who are looking forward to strengthen their attacking prowess prior to the Africa campaign and their quest to defend the league title in the upcoming season are possibly to complete a deal with Tema Youth for their talismanic Evans Osei Owusu.

The prestigious attacker who has had a consistent and exceptional performance for the Tema based club in the just ended division one league season is set to join Asante Kotoko reportedly for four (4) years contract, pending on no last minute setback. The player is currently at the camp of Black Galaxies towards their preparation for the CHAN qualifiers and under the auspices of Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.

Evans Osei Owusu, as arguably the most impressive player in the just ended division one league had a tremendous statistics, having notched 20 goals, 10 assists and 8 MVPs which ushered Tema Youth to the middle league of zone three in the Ghana’s division one league season.

The ambidexterity but a strong left footy of the twenty-one year (21) old attacker is expected to improve the Kotoko attacking machinery due to his effectiveness especially at the wide areas when all negotiations are done.
