Asante Kotoko and FC Samartex have reached an agreement for the loan of the player Samuel Boateng for the remainder of the season.

An Asante Kotoko statement read : “Our forward, Samuel Boateng joins premier side FC Samartex on loan until the end of the 2022/23 season.

We wish Boateng the best on loan.

Boateng only joined Asante Kotoko from division one outfit Future Stars in September 2021 and contributed to the red’s quest for the league title last year. But after failing to nail down a regular starting place this season due to injuries and technical decisions, Boateng is on the move to find a regular berth with the GPL debutants.

The 25-year-old has only spent a season and half out of his three years contract with the Ghanaian giants. making over 20 appearance and scored six (6) goals in all competitions. The deal is reportedly includes an option to buy the player on permanent deal at the end of the season. The timbers will also reportedly cover the player’s half salary during his time at Nsenkyire Park.

Boateng is a strong and energetic attacker who is good in hold up play and very clinical when chances are avail. He can also play both wide and looks a good choice to help F. Samartex survival in the top flight.
